Chris O'Rear, M.Div., MMFT, is an approved supervisor for LPC-MHSP candidates and Clinical Pastoral Therapist candidates in Tennessee. With 23+ years of clinical experience and 14+ years supervising, Chris provides a balanced approach focused on both clinical excellence and self-reflection.

  • Individual Supervision

  • Dyadic (Dual-Individual) Supervision

  • Clinical Pastoral Therapist Supervision

  • Supervision for therapists-in-training & spiritual caregivers

Supervision is available in-person or virtually. Sliding scale may be available.

Clinical + Theological Case Consultation

We offer an ongoing Case Consultation Group for licensed and provisionally licensed therapists seeking deeper reflection and spiritual integration in their case work. This ecumenical group explores spiritual and existential themes alongside diagnostic planning and client care.​

Group includes:

  • Peer case sharing in a confidential setting

  • Clinical + theological reflection

  • Emphasis on meaning-making, spiritual story, and therapist formation​

Workshops, Speaking + Congregational Training

Our team offers training and education for therapists, clergy, churches, nonprofits, and leadership teams. Sessions are tailored to your group's needs and grounded in expertise in family systems, grief, addiction, ethics, and more.

ACPE Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy Training

Chris O’Rear is an approved ACPE trainer for the Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP) program. This 30-hour CE training is for licensed and pre-licensed professionals seeking to integrate spirituality and psychotherapy in a meaningful, ethical way.

Program includes:

  • 15-hour Level 1 curriculum

  • 15-hour Level 2 curriculum

  • Optional certification process

  • Ongoing Communities of Practice

Eligible participants may also join a SIP-specific Case Consultation group.
