“I always like to look on the optimistic side of life, but I am realistic enough to know that life is a complex matter.” – Walt Disney
Life is often complex, presenting challenges and obstacles that can feel overwhelming. Counseling offers a space where individuals can experience empathy and hope, supporting them through life’s most difficult moments while exploring and making sense of the complexities they face.
Andrew believes that individuals are naturally motivated toward growth and positive psychological well-being. He views the client as the expert of their own life and strives to foster a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel free to express themselves fully. At the heart of his practice is a commitment to building an authentic and trusting therapeutic relationship.
Andrew uses an integrative counseling approach, drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. His education and training equip him to work with individuals across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds. Whether through expressive arts or traditional talk therapy, Andrew meets clients where they are, helping them navigate life’s challenges with compassion and insight.
He works with a wide range of presenting concerns, including addiction, anxiety, and depression, and is dedicated to supporting clients as they move toward healing and personal growth. In Andrew's free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling to new places, playing disc golf, visiting local eateries, playing video games, and cheering on the University of Alabama.
